Our Review
PLACEHOLDER REVIEW β The Hype Fire is Easton's answer to hitters who want a true two-piece composite: big barrel, dampened sting, and a touch of end-load for energy. Out of the wrapper it plays a little dead, which is normal for this construction; give it a couple of cage sessions and the barrel wakes up.
Insider Note
Industry note: the Hype Fire's connection piece is the same family Easton has carried for several seasons β a known, reliable design. Watch for early-season cold-weather use; composite barrels of this style perform best above ~60Β°F.
